About · Established 2017

Under new
leadership.

Dutton House, a men's sober living home in Hyde Park, Austin, has been serving working professional men in recovery since 2017, and is now run by two men in recovery who have both spent real time inside sober living, one running a house, one living in one. This is the home we would have wanted.

Leadership

Clay Canfield

Clay Canfield

Clay has been in recovery for seven years and spent years before Dutton House working as a recovery house manager. He knows what the day-to-day of running a good sober living looks like, the routines, the honest conversations, the small decisions that keep a house steady, and he runs Dutton House with that same hands-on care.

Griffin Greene

Griffin Greene

Griffin has been in recovery for two years and lived in a recovery house himself before helping start this one. He knows what it feels like to walk through the door on day one, and he keeps that perspective close in how Dutton House welcomes people, what the house feels like to live in, and how new residents are supported early on.

Founder

Tim Warp

Tim Warp

Tim Warp founded Dutton House in 2017. In his words: as a recovered alcoholic, he has made it his mission to help others maintain a sober life, and offering a safe, structured and sober environment after treatment gives them an advantage before returning to normal life on their own. He also serves on the board of the National Sober Living Association.

House manager

Michael Ganther

Michael brings more than 20 years of experience in recovery, including counseling experience, and nearly a decade managing recovery homes. As house manager he handles the day-to-day of Dutton House: drug testing, check-ins, curfew, and the steady presence that keeps the house running well.
